The main activity guideline of the State Kyiv Design Bureau "Luch" is:

•   Scientific researches, development works on the component system parts of the air and antitank armament’s creation, and also production of:

  • control systems for air missiles, anti-tank missiles and other destruction weapon;

  • electric control units (driving actuators) and other guided high-precision weapon aggregates (air missiles, air-defense and anti-tank missiles, torpedoes);

  • automated control and diagnostic systems for guided high-precision weapon;

  • telemeter systems for the guided air and antitank missile tests;

  • optoelectronic systems for the tank and artillery guns barrel bending angle measurement;

  • training control systems for monitoring of aiming devices’ laser channel, training and practice of the armored vehicles' crews.

•   Scientific and technological works on reequipment and modernization of automated control and diagnostic systems for guided high-precision weapon;

•   Organization and participation in realization of activities on the Armed Forces of Ukraine guided weapon fighting readiness.

Scientific and technological potential and production capacities of the company allow realizing export deliveries of a large range of military assignment production and fulfillment of a broad spectrum of services:

•   realization of scientific researches and development works, manufacturing and delivery of production on the customer's requirement specifications;

•   modernization, repair and maintenance of military engineering delivered before according to the customer's demand;

•   post-guarantee service of military engineering delivered before, training and preparation of technicians.

State Kyiv Design Bureau "Luch", as the main developer, is given an exclusive right to carry out works in Ukraine and abroad on the specified service life extension, and also repair, updating, maintenance of the following systems: "Trubezh", "Ingul", "Gurt" and ÀÊÈÏÑ being successfully used in many countries of the world and assigned for controlling of air missiles and torpedoes.

For years of activity the specialists of the enterprise have developed and put into operation over 40 types of science intensive devices, in particular, the automated control and diagnosis systems and also high-precision guided weapon systems and assemblies. During the last ten years the SKDB “Luch” is developing the air and antitank control systems.

The personnel of the State Kyiv Design Bureau "Luch" is represented by the highly skilled specialists, including Candidates Sc. (Technology), D. Sc. (Technology). Several employees are the State Prize winners of Ukraine in the field of science and technology and are awarded to honorary titles.
