High-precision control systems

During the last 10 years the State Kyiv Design Bureau "Luch" has been developing and designing control systems of aviation, anti-aircraft, antitank missiles and other means of destruction.

Aerodynamic and gas-dynamic control surfaces and also combined control systems can be used as the actuators of the control systems.

Nowadays the State Kyiv Design Bureau "Luch" has developed and mastered production engineering of the antitank guided missile digital control systems.

In particular, antitank guided missile aiming is realized by the laser beam. The guidance system is semiautomatic, antijamming. Guided missiles assure hitting of the armoured military objects with ERA (explosive reactive armour) and also targets like weapon emplacements, tank in the trench, helicopters in hover flight. The range is 5000 m and so it is possible to combat before entering the enemy zone of gun effective firing.

Units of Electric Control Surface Actuators (BERP)

The State Kyiv Design Bureau "Luch" takes leading position in the field of development of electric control surface actuators of the aircraft, antiaircraft, antitank missiles, torpedoes, guided projectiles and has available technologies of their manufacturing.

For the last twenty years the State Kyiv Design Bureau "Luch" has developed over 10 types of units of electric control surface actuators and various actuators for products of different classes complying with requirements of the best world prototypes.

The original technical solutions laid into them are protected with the certificates and patents of authorship.

The electric actuators are mechanically made as units (compartments) of a missile, torpedo, projectile or as independent actuators containing electric actuating motors with gearboxes, control angle sensors, electromagnetic caging devices designed for mechanical control locking, electronic control system and built-in pre-launch check-out device. The actuators control is realized by the analogue electric signals or digital code.

The self-contained electrochemical power sources provide power supply.

The aerodynamic control surfaces (plane or lattice) and gas-dynamic interceptors, gas control surfaces can serve as fins of the control actuators. The special fast-responding direct current electric motors (including commutatorless motors) and special small-sized control angle sensors are used in the electric control surface actuators.

Direct current electric motors with the high specific output and with minimum overall and mass parameters are intended to run during short-time operating conditions which correspond to the operating conditions of an aircraft or torpedo.

The actuator electronic control system is created on the up-to-date electronic components with the use of original circuit engineering approaches that make possible to use high-speed processing units which take into account the specificity of the servo electric drivers control.

The State Kyiv Design Bureau "Luch" can realize the electric control surface actuators development and manufacturing in various design versions with various technical performances according to the Customer's demand.
